What the promo code covers, line by line

The trackers describe the BitStarz promo code as a bundle of three separate things. Each one follows its own rule in BitStarz's terms, so it helps to read them apart.

Two points follow from the table. What a BitStarz bonus code really costs: 40x in plain numbers

Clause 3.4 sets the rule every BitStarz bonus follows: 40 times the bonus amount must be wagered before you can withdraw. Clause 3.10 adds a maximum stake of 5 EUR (or 5 USD, CAD, AUD, NZD, USDT, 50 kr, 500 yen, or the crypto equivalent down to 0.00006 BTC) while the bonus is active.

Put those two rules together and you get the smallest number of bets each bonus needs:

A quick rule: multiply the bonus in euros by 8 to get the minimum number of bets at the maximum stake. Smaller stakes mean more bets — at 1 EUR per spin, a 100 EUR bonus takes 4,000 bets. The 40x rule applies to every bonus, whether it comes from a BitStarz promo code or is credited automatically.

How long the bonus lasts

Clause 3.7 gives seven days to bonuses that are part of the Welcome Package and 24 hours to every other bonus, unless a specific promotion says otherwise. The clock starts when the bonus is issued, not when you place the first bet.

That difference is bigger than it looks. A 100 EUR bonus inside the Welcome Package spreads 800 bets over a week — about 115 a day. The same bonus outside the package squeezes all 800 into a single day. If you cannot play that much in the time given, it is better to decline the bonus and play with your deposit.

BitStarz no deposit bonus code and free spins

You do not need a BitStarz no deposit bonus code for the free spins BitStarz lists in its terms. Clause 1.1 names four offers: registration spins, the Friday Loyalty Bonus (VIP members get a separate cashback version), Second Chance Spins and the Weekly Free Spins Drops. These are credited automatically under clause 2.2.

Two limits apply. Clause 1.2 gives free spin winnings the same 40x wagering, and clause 1.1 caps what you can win from those four offers at 100 EUR (150 CAD, AUD or NZD, 1,000 NOK, 10,000 JPY, or crypto from 0.0013 BTC to 0.413 BCH). So a 20 EUR registration bonus needs 800 EUR of betting and can pay out at most 100 EUR. Three ways a BitStarz promo code bonus can be taken back

• Abuse at BitStarz's discretion (clause 3.15). If BitStarz decides that an account exploited a software bug or abused a promotion, it can cancel the bonus and keep the winnings. The decision is at its “sole and complete discretion”.
• Extra accounts (clause 3.16). Opening another account to claim bonuses again counts as abuse and risks confiscated funds. The general terms (clause 6.2.2) allow one account per household, IP address and computer.
• Wrong code (clause 3.26). Entering a code for a promotion you do not qualify for can cost every bonus tied to that deposit.

Is BitStarz licensed?

Yes. BitStarz operates under a Curaçao permit, OGL/2024/165/0185, held by Gareton B.V. and listed as active in the register. In our five-point check of paperwork BitStarz scores 2 out of 5: the licence checks out, but its identity-check clause leaves the timing to the operator's discretion and does not name an amount or a document deadline. Wagering, stake caps and clocks side by side

A BitStarz promo code is only as good as the rules behind it, so here is how those rules compare with the two other casinos whose bonus pages answered live on 2 September 2026 — the same two whose codes are listed on this site. Each row answers three questions: how many times the bonus must be played through, the biggest bet allowed while it is active, and how long you have.

Two things stand out. First, all three use the same 5-unit stake cap, so the real difference is the multiplier and the clock. Second, a low multiplier with a tiny stake cap can cost more time than a higher one — Mirax's 1 EUR cap on its welcome package means a 100 EUR first deposit bonus at 35x needs at least 3,500 bets, against 800 at BitStarz or Bets.io at the maximum stake.

A worked example: 100 EUR bonus from a BitStarz promo code

Numbers make the rules easier to judge, so take one simple case. Say a BitStarz promo code adds a 100 EUR bonus to your balance inside the Welcome Package.

• Wagering: 100 × 40 = 4,000 EUR of bets (clause 3.4).
• Biggest allowed bet: 5 EUR (clause 3.10), so at least 800 spins or bets.
• Time: seven days from the moment the bonus is issued (clause 3.7) — about 115 bets a day at the maximum stake.
• What happens at 5.01 EUR: the stake breaks the cap, and the bonus can be removed.
• What happens on day eight: the bonus expires, along with anything still locked to it.

Now change one thing: the same 100 EUR bonus arrives outside the Welcome Package. The wagering and the stake cap stay the same, but the clock drops to 24 hours. That is 800 bets at 5 EUR in one day — roughly one bet every 108 seconds with no breaks. For most players that is not realistic, and it is the best argument for reading the promotion before you enter a BitStarz bonus code rather than after.

The house edge works against you the whole time. Every game returns less than it takes over many rounds, so 4,000 EUR of betting will, on average, cost part of the balance before wagering is done. A bonus lowers that cost; it does not remove it. Treat the result as entertainment spending, not income.

Stake caps in your currency

Clause 3.10 lists the maximum bet in several currencies, so the cap is not only a euro rule. While a bonus from a BitStarz promo code is active, the largest single bet is:
