The BitStarz bonus terms, clause by clause, with the wording kept
The BitStarz bonus terms carry 15,145 characters and the line Last updated: June 25th 2025. Eight clauses inside them settle what a bonus is worth: the turnover, the bet ceiling, the clock, the payout limit, the abuse rule and the one-account rule, quoted below in the operator's own words.
The document, and what it weighs
BitStarz publishes its bonus rules as a single document at bitstarz.com/bonus-terms-and-conditions. The file weighs 15,145 characters, states “Last updated: June 25th 2025” at the head, and was read to the last clause on 2 September 2026. A second document, the general terms at bitstarz.com/terms, runs to 42,876 characters and supplies one clause used below.
Eight clauses in the first document settle what any offer is worth. Each is quoted here as it stands, because a paraphrase of a bonus clause is where the money usually goes missing.
Clause 3.4, and clause 1.2 sitting underneath it
The multiple that governs everything is stated in eight words of clause 3.4: all bonuses “need to be wagered 40 (forty) times before the funds can be withdrawn”, unless a particular promotion says otherwise.
Clause 1.2 extends it to the offers most people go looking for:
The wagering requirements for free and registration bonuses are forty (40) times the bonus sum awarded to you, unless stated otherwise in the supplemental terms and conditions.
The pairing matters. A free bonus and a purchased bonus carry the same multiple here, so nothing about a gift makes its release cheaper. Forty times a bonus of 50 EUR is 2,000 EUR of betting, and the same forty applied to 20 EUR of registration credit is 800. Where that sits against other operators, from thirty to fifty, is laid out under the multiples compared.
Clause 3.10: a ceiling on every bet
While a bonus is live, a stake is capped at 5 EUR, with clause 3.10 listing the equivalent in each supported currency down to 0.00006 BTC. The clause is worded as an absolute: the ceiling holds “until the playthrough requirements have been met”.
That single sentence is what makes the multiple expensive. A requirement of 2,000 EUR at a stake of 5 EUR is 400 bets at the largest size permitted; at 1 EUR it is 2,000 bets. The bet ceiling converts a multiplier into a quantity of time and turnover, which is the form in which a reader actually pays it.
Clause 3.7: seven days, or twenty-four hours
All bonuses that are a part of the Welcome Package are valid for 7 days. All other bonuses (unless otherwise stated) will expire after 24 hours from being issued.
Two clocks, and the shorter one governs most offers. A reload or a spin drop issued on a Tuesday evening expires on Wednesday evening with its turnover unfinished, and the funds go with it. Set 24 hours against forty times and the clock does more work than the multiple.
Put the three clauses in one line and the requirement becomes a schedule. A bonus of 100 EUR asks for 4,000 EUR of betting under clause 3.4, at a maximum of 5 EUR a time under clause 3.10, which is 800 bets minimum, inside the seven days clause 3.7 allows for a Welcome Package offer. That is about 115 bets a day for a week, and the same offer issued outside the Welcome Package would have to fit the whole 800 into a single day.
Clause 1.1: one hundred at the end of a free bonus
The maximum winnings that will be paid out resulting from a bonus or free spins that you’ve gotten from us for free, without any deposit being required (e.g., the free spins upon registration, Weekly Free Spins Drops, Second Chance Spins, Friday Loyalty Bonus (exception VIP players who have specifically been set on a VIP Cashback Deal as part of their Friday Loyalty Bonus)) will be 100 EUR/USD/USDT, 150 CAD/AUD/NZD, 1,000 NOK, 0.413 BCH, 2.023 LTC, 0.042 ETH, 1,232 DOGE, 10,000 JPY or 0.0013 BTC.
The clause names the promotions it governs, which is more than most operators bother to do, and it puts a hard number at the far end of them. Take clause 1.2 and clause 1.1 together and the shape of a free offer is fully described: forty times the credit goes through the games, and 100 EUR is the most that comes out at the end, however the spins land.
Deposit bonuses are treated differently. The document read here attaches no equivalent ceiling to them, and that is recorded as an unread line rather than as an absence of any limit, since a supplemental page could carry one.
Clause 3.15: what a breach costs
If, upon such a review, it appears that a Player(s) are taking advantage of any software or system bug or failure, or participating in any form of activity that BitStarz, in its sole and complete discretion, deems to be abusive (‘Promotion Abuse’), BitStarz reserves the right to revoke the entitlement of such a Player to receive or benefit from the promotion (and/or withhold the pay out of the proceeds of such abuse to the Player/s in question).
Three phrases carry the weight: sole and complete discretion, any form of activity, and withhold the pay out. The clause defines abuse by reference to the operator’s own judgement rather than by a list, which leaves the boundary where the operator draws it on the day. A reader who has just cleared a forty-times requirement is holding a balance that this clause can reach.
Clause 3.26 belongs in the same family. It says that a code used on a promotion the account is ineligible for costs both the bonus behind that code and every other bonus the deposit would have earned. The arithmetic that follows from all of this is worked through on the home page.
Clauses 3.16 and 6.2.2: one account, in two documents
The bonus terms state the rule briefly:
Multiple accounts are not permitted. Creating more than one accounts with BitStarz in order to claim any bonuses is deemed as bonus abuse and may result in confiscated funds.
The general terms state it far more widely, at clause 6.2.2:
You are allowed to have only one Member Account. Only one Account for each household, IP, PC is allowed. If you attempt to open more than one Member Account, all accounts you try to open may be blocked or closed and any bets may be voided.
The gap between the two is worth a minute. Clause 3.16 is about intent: a second account opened in order to claim bonuses. Clause 6.2.2 is about circumstance, and it counts a household, an IP address and a machine as one member. Two people sharing a flat, or a family behind one router, land inside the second clause with no intent involved, and the remedy listed there covers every account and every bet placed from them.
What the document leaves for another day
The edition read here states no game-contribution percentages, meaning the share of a bet on a given category that counts towards the turnover. That line stays empty on this site until it is opened somewhere else in the operator’s material, and an empty line records the state of the reading rather than the state of the rules. The same applies to the payout ceiling on a deposit bonus.
